Ring Warriors presents “Wrestlegrowl ’08” tonight at the Alachua County Fair in Gainesville, FL. Advertised: Dustin Rhodes vs. “Iceman” Buck Q. Phi Delta Slam vs. The Heavenly Bodies. “Disco Inferno” Glenn Gilbertti vs. Francisco Ciatso. Mike Mondo vs. “Modern Miracle” Steve Madison. The Sheik vs. “Firefighter” Mike Sullivan. In a match representing the Wild Women of Wrestling, Betsy Ruth & Sybil Pageant vs. Jessika Haze & Kimberly. Terri Runnels will also be on hand. The event is free to paying customers of the Alachua County Fair. Tickets to enter the fair are $6 for adults, $3 for kids ages 4-12, and free for kids under 4. Roller was claiming to be a World champion, saying he had defeated Charley Cutler, who had previously defeated Henry Ordemann in 1914. However, at the time of this card, Joe Stecher was more widely recognized as the champion, himself having defeated Cutler in Omaha, NE, on July 4, 1915.
