Jim Ross noted in his latest blog entry at JRsBarBQ.com that WWE will be taping some of the matches for the April 3rd SmackDown! show at the March 30th RAW TV in Dallas.
Cam Hamon sent along the following to WrestleZone.com: The Von Erichs had a Hall of Fame video package on the show, including interviews with Stone Cold Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels, confirming that Michael Hayes will be inducting them into the HoF. Also, Jim Ross confirmed that JBL has accepted Rey Mysterio’s challenge for the Intercontinental Title at WM25 so that match is official.
James Johnson sent along the following to WrestleZone.com: Mr. Kennedy (remember that guy?) appeared on Sky Sports News here in the UK earlier today. I missed most of the interview but he was promoting Wrestlemania, Behind Enemy Lines: Columbia and the WWE’s upcoming UK tour. He answered some questions sent in by fans, citing Steve Austin as the reason he got in to wrestling and was his dream opponent. He also said that MVP was the most underrated guy in WWE right now. Also of interest was that he mentioned how he has gotten involved with UK charity “Beat Bullying” but it came across like he knew very little about it. The organization’s website (www.beatbullying.org/) lists him as “Mr Ken Kenney”, winner of “numerous Smakcdowns and SummerSlams” (and yes, that is how it is written).
