TNA sent out the following mobile text message last night:
"TNA has signed a former world champion from another organization. Unlock the identity this Sunday on TNA’s Lockdown PPV."
Speculation centers around TAZ, who recently left WWE, but we will remember a similar tease a while back that led only to a one time appearance by Al Snow.
If it is Taz that has been "signed" the assumption would be that he was signed to join the announce team, as it is highly unlikely he would wrestle.
But why limit the speculation:
Why not……Rob Van Dam, The Sandman, Sabu, Terry Funk, Dory Funk, Jr., Harley Race, Bill Goldberg, Steve Corino….maybe even Bryan Danielson or Nigel McGuinness, and many more…..
