AT RANDOM: Chris Cash Looks At Last Night’s Impact!

– I love all the different ways Eric Young can try to get his momentum back by simply changing the last line of his promos.  This week, it was "I guarantee you, this will be a night you will never forget".  Last week, it was "You’re going to regret you ever asked me to do that", or something like that.  I don’t care about how many variations of the same thing he can come up, I’m simply waiting for him to actually break through and go on a tyrade.  I think the fans would jump on board and get behind him if they did that.

– Lethal is great.  The little nuances he adds into his promos that are completely random and unrelated to what they’re talking about is classic.

– Very good promo by Mick, but thank you for telling us the title is changing hands at Slammiversary.  I expected it to anyway, but his "once a year" speech just made it clear.

– Joe said that the Mafia made him go insane, which is why he acted the way he did toward Styles, correct?  Now, he wants things to go back to normal between him and A.J. right after he reveals earlier that he had a hit list against the Mafia?  Anyone get that?

– Well, Eric lost…again.  Jarrett advances and I guess all those things he said to Angle months ago about not wanting to wrestle again are completely forgotten at this point.  I’m watching this, by the way, and can I ask: why did Jeff hesitate so long when Young asked to shake his hand?  They’re supposed to be friends.

– And that’s what I’m talking about:  a tyrade.  Young has been talking so much shit.  It was time for him to stop talking and finally follow through with the promise he’s been making at the end of each promo.  I hope that continue with him and really give him a good push out of this.

– Good segment with 3D and Beer Money.  Crazy to see them both as faces, but it’s time for that with Storm and Roode.  The crowd loves them and they have so many tools to work with as faces.

– I was seriously looking forward to Daniels and Styles.  It delivered.  That was a great match and it what was better was seeing the two of them in the Main Event.  The final sequence with the attempted Styles Clash reversed into the attempted Angels Wings reversed into a roll-up was very cool looking and well done.

– My damn DVR cut off right as Shane Douglas was getting into the ring behind Daniels, so I don’t actually know what he ended up doing.  I’m assuming he stared him down or layed him out (yes, I’m too lazy to go read it).  I’m not sure what type of fix TNA was on with all the returns tonight, but it was refreshing and were spread out during the show so it didn’t seem to be overkill.
