Lesnar has watched his fight with Mir a hundred times and analyzed it in every way. Says he did a lot of things right in that fight, made a mistake, and Mir capitalized. Lesnar called himself a sore loser and can’t wait for his revenge and hopes that the referee doesn’t make any bad calls. Referring to Mir’s trash talk, Lesnar thinks the guy who talks a lot is the one who is nervous. Lesnar says being interim champion doesn’t mean anything and compares it to being a substitute teacher.
Landsberg says Lesnar would be a rich man if he was still with WWE, leaving a 7 year/$45M contract, and asked him what else he would be today if he stayed. Lesnar said he’s still a rich man today fighting for UFC. He says life isn’t all about money and he is happy doing this. Landsberg asks about his tattoos and Lesnar says they all have significance. After he left WWE and couldn’t make the NFL he felt like he had a dagger to his neck which is why he got that tattoo. He worked hard to get to the top of UFC and he’s happy.
