ON THE SAME STEP: CM Punk

Okay – so the screwjob finish was…well…screwy. I don’t thing it helped Punk at all, but I can’t say that it hurt him either. They needed to keep the title on him without the Undertaker submitting. I understand that. However, I didn’t really get it. Was Teddy Long in on it as well? That blank stare on his face certainly made it seem that way. If he wasn’t in on it, how could he overturn the decision on Taker, stand there and watch the rest of the match, and then NOT do anything when the screwjob clearly took place?
Hated the finish, but it didn’t move Punk up or down the ladder, in my opinion. I just don’t think they’re going to get the reaction they wanted or were expecting with this finish. We’ll see this week I guess.
