Notes About The Show:

– Prior to the show, there was an autograph session with Jamie Noble, FCW champion Justin Angel, & 2008 Playboy Model Of The Year Jillian Beyor. Eve Torres was previously announced to be part of the session, but no-showed the event.

– ECW’s Savannah was the ring announcer for all three tapings.

– The TV announcers for all three tapings was Byron Saxton & Wade Barrett. For the first time in nearly a year, Dusty Rhodes did not serve on the announce team for any of the three tapings.

– The first taping opened with Penny Cash interviewing Liviana, who announced that Abraham Washington was still the GM of FCW, regardless of what Steve Keirn says.

– Heath Slater’s victories over the Rotundo brothers during the week one & two tapings came with the help of Michael Tarver. Prior to Slater’s week 3 match with Alberto Banderas, Tarver cut a very interesting promo with Slater, acting, literally, as the angel on Slater’s right shoulder, and the devil on his left. Tarver is very gifted on the mic, and this may have been his most impressive mic work to date.

– At the mid-point of the week one tapings, Penny Cash tried to interview Eli Cottonwood. She showed a video of Eli’s girlfriend, Aksana, who was taken from the FCW Arena against her will during the Christmas week tapings by Sweet Papi Sanchez. In the video, Aksana looked pretty rough… runny make-up, hair messed up, distressed, stating she has not been harmed and hopes to see Eli soon.

– The “Human Cage Match” at the end of the week 1 tapings was a renamed traditional Lumberjack Match with lots of action, and the crowd was hot for the entire match.

– Midway through the week 2 taping, there was an Abraham Washington Show. Washington, and his arm candy, Liviana, came to the ring and he announced that he would be fighting the decision to release him from the position of GM, as well as his audit, with the finest defense attorney in country, Johnny Cochrane. Liviana whispered to him that Cochrane had passed away, then Washington looked panicked, saying he was gonna go to jail unless he could get someone like “Matlock or Perry Mason”.
Washington then introduced his guest, Eli Cottonwood. He told Eli that he was given a video to show to him. It was another captive video of Aksana. This one stating that she will see Eli next week (week 3 of the tapings). Washington continued to mock Cottonwood, and Liviana came to Eli’s side trying to get Abe to shut up. After Eli left the ring, Liviana walked out on Washington. During this segment, Washington had the line of the night, “What in the FCW is going on here?”.

– After Johnny Prime pinned Gabriel, Gabriel attacked Prime, laying him out. Then he grabbed the mic and cut a promo letting the FCW Universe needs “a hero, a real hero. That hero is Gabriel”.

– Midway through the week 3 tapings Eli Cottonwood came to the ring, then all the lights in the arena went black. When they came back on, Aksana, looking like she had been roughed up, was standing in the ring with him. As they embraced, a voice, over the sound system told Eli that he got what he wanted this time, but a statement had been made and next time he will not be so lucky. The voice sounded like Jose Torres’ pre Sweet Papi Sanchez character, Black Pain.

– Noticeably absent from the show were Tyler Reks and Mia Mancini, the injured Percy Watson & Dylan Klein, and Jimmy Uso, who is still out on Bereavement leave.
