Notes About The Show:
Prior to the show, there was an autograph session with Brett DiBiase and his brother, RAW Superstar Ted DiBiase.
It was a packed house (they even had to add extra chairs), and the crowd was hot the whole night.
Former WWP (South Africa) Champion Dameon Duke, working under his real name, Ray Leppan, continues to impress as he worked hard in his match with Duke Rotundo.
David Otunga & Michael Tarver put over WWE NXT in a big way with solid mic work prior to their match.
G-Rilla, who is George Murdoch (son of a wrestling legend, the late Dick Murdoch), is a 6’3” 350+ pounder returning to WWE developmental after stints in DSW (often teaming with Freakin’ Deacon (Luke Gallows) as well as a 2007-2008 run in FCW.
At intermission, everyone in the audience was given a free set of FCW Trading Cards. The set given were cards individually featuring Skip Sheffield, Aksana, Tyler Reks, Wade Barrett, Darren Young, Heath Slater, Kaval, & Joe Hennig.
Cliff Compton & Byron Saxton BOTH put on clinics of how to draw heat with their strong mic work. As Baretta, Croft, & Hawkins did it with their in-ring antics and banter during their match.
It was announced that FCW will return to Plant City on March 19th and will feature an FCW Diva “Bikini Strawberry Shortcake Match”.
Stars in attendance at the show and mingling with the audience included FCW officials Steve Keirn, Norman Smiley, & Dr. Tom Pritchard as well as current stars Savannah, Wes Brisco, Eli Cottonwood, Alex Riley, Jackson Andrews, Smackdown’s Serena, Johnny Prime, NXT’s Wade Barrett, and Vance Archer.
Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.
