Notes About The Show:
Byron Saxton & Abraham Washington were tried again as the TV announce tandem. These two seem to have a great time working the mic together. I’d like them to do a real TV taping just to hear the banter.
Ata Maivia, daughter of Peter Maivia & mother of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, was in attendance.
Adam Atherton worked his first singles match at the FCW Arena. Atherton was known as “Asher Knight” in Ohio Valley Wrestling. He was signed after the WWE tryouts at OVW in January. There was an internet buzz about Laurinaitis telling him to cut off his Miz-like fauxhawk immediately upon signing him.
Strong work from Joe Doering once again. You can see the experience he gained in All Japan. He carries himself like a true main eventer and matched up well with Joe Hennig.
The daughter of WWE Hall Of Famer “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka, Sarona Snuka, made her FCW debut in what appears to be a potentially strong faction as mentioned above. This faction consists of Snuka, Donny Marlow (son of Haku), Jimmy & Jules Uso (twin sons of Rikishi Fatu), and G-Rilla (son of “Captain Redneck” Dick Murdoch).
Those noticeably absent from the show included Alberto Banderas, Brett DiBiase, Cilff Compton, Darren Young, David Otunga, Eli Cottonwood, Johnny Curtis, Ray Leppan, Johnny Prime, Michael Tarver, Percy Watson, Savannah, Tyler Reks, Vance Archer, & Wes Brisco. It also appears that Jillian Beyor is no longer with FCW, however, this is not confirmed.
