Main Event: Tag Team Challenge
Beer Money vs RVD & Jeff Hardy
Hardy and Storm start this one off and Hardy quickly avoids Storm and sends him crashing into Roode on the outside. Hardy and RVD get a ladder out and lay it flat on the ring apron and guardrail as we go to commercial. When we come back, Beer Money has control and Storm goes to run off the ropes but RVD hits a spinning kick and tags in Hardy. Hardy hits an atomic drop, legdrop to the groin and sitout facebuster in succession but the pin attempt is broken up by Roode. Hardy goes up top but is knocked off the ropes and now Roode has control of the match. He hits a neckbreaker on Hardy and only gets a two count. He tags Storm back in and he keeps Hardy grounded. Roode tags back in and he taunts RVD and goes back to work on Hardy with a side headlock. Hardy fights out of it, and hits a jawbreaker, but Roode comes back and hits a spinebuster. Beer Money is making quick tags and we end up with Storm and Hardy in the ring. Hardy tries to fight back and jumps at Storm but they hit awkwardly and both men are on the ground.
Both men make desperation tags and RVD gets in but the ref holds him back and says he didn’t see the tag. Storm keeps Hardy grounded as we see the ladder is still set on the apron that we saw earlier. Storm tries picking up Hardy for The Eye of the Storm but Hardy fights out and sends him into the turnbuckle. He jumps up to the top turnbuckle and hits a corkscrew moonsault on Storm. Both men are down and the referee is making the ten count before Hardy finally gets a legal tag and RVD is in and is hitting both Storm and Rude with kicks and forearms. RVD monkey flips Roode out of the corner and goes up top and hits a jumping side kick. He goes for the pin but Storm breaks it up. RVD slams him to the ground and hits the split-legged moonsault out of the corner and goes for another cover.
The referee refuses to make the count as he is trying to tell RVD that Storm is not the legal man, Roode is. Roode hits RVD from behind and Hardy comes back in, only to be met with a double suplex. RVD attempts a comeback but Roode slingshots him into a DDT by Storm. All four men are in the ring and Hardy hits a Twist of Fate on Roode. Storm pulls Hardy outside and tries to send him into the ladder but Hardy ducks and slides it into Storm’s face. In the ring RVD hits Rolling Thunder and Hardy hits the Senton Bomb on Roode. RVD goes back up top and hits the 5 Star Frog Splash and gets the win.
Winners: RVD & Jeff Hardy
After the match we get highlights as RVD and Hardy celebrate in the ring and pose on the ropes before Eric Young comes into the ring. He asks for a mic and says this will be short and sweet. He says he just talked to Hogan and next week there will be a 6 man tag match. It will be The Band, Sean Waltman, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash facing Eric Young and his tag team partners, RVD and Jeff Hardy! EY raises the arms of his new partners and poses with them as Impact goes off the air.
