TNA House Show Report 4-16-2010
Independence, Missouri at the Independence Events Center (A suburb of Kansas City)
Kazarian defeated Brian Kendrick
Great match to start off the night. The X-Division has some of the most athletic wrestlers in all of pro-wrestling. These two had some of the best moves of the night.
Rob Terry defeated Orlando Jordan
Rob Terry was the fan favorite.
Angelina Love defeated Velvet Sky
Madison Rayne accompanied Velvet to the ring. The beautiful people tried to double team Angelina to no avail. Both Velvet and Angelina got lots of cheers.
“The Pope” D’Angelo Dinero defeated Desmond Wolfe
Lots of USA chants. “The Pope” played to the crowd after Wolfe made fun of them.
Jeff Jarrett & Abyss defeated Beer Money
The match had great crowd interaction as Beer Money knocked a beer out of a fan’s hand. Jarrett made the hot tag to Abyss which got a great pop.

Kurt Angle defeated Mr. Anderson
Funny moment happened when Anderson went to grab his microphone from the ceiling but nothing came down so Jeremy Borash ran up behind him to lower a microphone into his hand. Mr. Anderson had lots of heat after making fun of the crowd. Kurt Angle got a great ovation when he entered the ring. Kurt performed some great moves in the ring. In terms of in-ring work this match along with Kazarian vs. Brian Kendrick really stood out.
After the match Kurt Angle thanked the crowd for supporting TNA and said that TNA fans are the most dedicated and loyal fans in pro-wrestling.
Notes:
TNA live events are awesome! During intermission the Beautiful People signed autographs at the merchandise table. They were extremely nice to all the fans.
After the show, for $20 you could get in the ring and get a picture with Kurt Angle. Kurt Angle was awesome to meet and extremely friendly. Kazarian, Brian Kendrick, Rob Terry, Earl Hebner, and Jeremy Borash all signed autographs ringside after the show. All of them were very friendly. Abyss and Earl Hebner signed autographs at the merchandise table after the show.
TNA house shows are a great value for the money. I highly recommend checking a show out!
