With Monday Night Raw taking place at the Izod Center in the Meadowlands this coming Monday, April 19, the Bergen Record, a county-newspaper conducted an interview with Raw Superstar/Comedian Santino Marella. Marella used to train in Paterson, located just 15 minutes from the Izod Center. Questions in the interview are about mic skills, his debut w/ the Intercontinental title in Milan, “Jersey Shore”, stand-up, weirdest comment from a fan, and being that Maria is on the Apprentice now, how he would do in a reality show.
One quote from the article is about his feelings about wrestling in general, “I want to be more in the ring, for sure. This is my real element. An artist, when he is in his studio with paintbrush, he is free. You put some guy on the balcony with a saxophone, he’s free. When I’m in the ring, this is where I’m free.”
