TNA World Heavyweight Championship

Desmond Wolfe vs Rob Van Dam (c)

Wolfe dropkicks RVD through the ropes before he can even get in the ring. He works away on RVD in the corner and stays ahead of RVD with every counter attempt. Wolfe poses too long and doesn’t see RVD who comes off the top with a missile dropkick. Wolfe hits RVD and tries for a Tower of London onto the ramp but RVD avoids hit and throws him onto the ramp. RVD sends Wolfe back into the ring and hits the 5 Star to get the win and retain the title. After the bell, AJ Styles runs in and attacks RVD. He screams at RVD on the ground and says he is getting his rematch at Sacrifice.

Winner and still champion – Rob Van Dam

Backstage, Hogan finds Jeff Jarrett laid out and he asks him who did it. Jarrett says he doesn’t know what happened and Hogan yells for someone to help Jarrett.  Hogan hits the ring as Tenay and Taz talk about the history between Sting and Hogan. Hogan says when he came to TNA he knew what he was getting. Then he says when he came in, the guy he expected to lead TNA had changed, and he tells Sting to get his ass out there and explain. Sting comes out with his bat and stares Hogan down. Hogan says he has been around too long to be fooled and asks Sting what is going on. Sting grabs a mic and says TNA makes him tick, and his agenda is the same as it was five years ago. He says he is giving back to the profession and brand he loves, and says when Hogan was in WWE he was protected. He tells Hogan it was the same in WCW, and now Hogan isn’t protected anymore. Hogan says Sting can’t attack anyone without worrying about who is protected and says he still has blood on his hands. Sting laughs and says it’s Hogan’s move while Hogan tells him to take his best shot. Jeff Jarrett heads to the ring and nails Sting with the baseball bat. He goes to hit Sting again but Hogan stops him and Jarrett is screaming at him to let him go as Impact goes off the air.
