UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar received the “Submission Of The Night” award this past Saturday night at UFC 116 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Lesnar earned a cash bonus of $75,000 after the show for his arm-triangle submission victory over Shane Carwin in the PPV main event.
While it was surprising Lesnar ended the fight via submission, one could argue that Chris Lytle got screwed in this category as his reverse triangle submission victory over Matt Brown was clearly the best actual submission finish on the show.
