Ted DiBiase (w/ Maryse) vs John Morrison
Ted and Morrison lock up and Ted pushes him into the corner then punches him in the side of the head. Ted puts Morrison in a headlock, then punches him down when Morrison fights back, but Morrison pops up anyway and hits Ted with a flash kick. He tries to go up top but Maryse gets on the apron to distract him, and Ted goes for the rollup. He tries using the ropes but Truth shoves his feet off, and Ted shoves him backwards at ringside. Morrison runs at Ted, who drop toe holds him into Truth, and they hit heads and Ted rolls up Morrison for the win. Afterwards Morrison yells at Truth about what happened and Truth tries to explain what happened. They show a replay and Morrison asks what that was as Truth tries telling him he was just trying to watch his back. John Cena watches from the back as he sees the tension continue between his teammates.
Winner – Ted DiBiase
Josh Mathews is backstage with Randy Orton, and he asks why Orton stopped Miz from cashing in. Orton says he RKO’d both of them, and it doesn’t matter who is champion, because he will leave Summerslam with the belt after an RKO.
The Miz & Sheamus vs Chris Jericho & John Cena
All four guys are arguing over who will start the match, and Miz tries to cheap shot Cena, but he gets punches in the ribs and bulldogged out of the ring instead. Miz gets back in then quick tags Sheamus and tells him to get in. Sheamus keeps Cena grounded in a side headlock, but Cena rolls out of it and applies a headlock of his own. Jericho somewhat reluctantly tags in, and Sheamus pounds away at him in the corner. Jericho fights back and hits a dropkick off the ropes, then hits another to send Sheamus to the apron. Sheamus tries to clothesline Jericho but Jericho holds on to the ropes and Sheamus gets dumped to the outside. Miz gets in his face and screams about being the MITB winner as we go to a break.
