Went to TNA house show in Wallingford.
Pretty close to a sellout., if not. Very live crowd especially since Jeremy Borash offered several backstage passes to the loudest fans
Triple threat : Kazarian vs Lethal vs Robbie E. Very good fast paced match. Lethal retains X division title .
Knockout title. Madison Rain vs Micki James.
Jeremy introduces Earl Hebner. Crowd Chants "You screwed Brett. " Hebner takes off striped shirt to reveal his " Damn right I did" t-shirt." Mickie gets strong reaction. Excellent knockout match. Hebner catches Madison across his knee saving her from a fall and then kisses her. Madison Turns the tide for a win . Micki recovering from the stunning blow kisses Hebner.
Anderson vs Pope: ( change in card) Both introduced . Anderson gets spotlight in ring waiting for mike to drop but there is none. Finally Jeremy has to stand on something to hand down the ring mike. Anderson does his thing. Asks how many assholes are in the building
Match is pretty good. Crowd mostly behind Anderson who eventually gets the win. Anderson then says that Jeremy’s announcement was so weak a little kid could do better and proves it by going into the crowd to have a small boy announce his name..
Tag Team title Beer Money vs Ink inc.: Very good match by both teams . Not as much aerial stuff by INK as expected but still good action. Beer Money comes out on top. Afterward slight friction between Ink members.
Lengthy intermission as Jeremy gives way to Don West hocking everything but the kitchen sink while tossing T-shirts and Dvds into the crowd. Hebners sign t-shirts and Micki James signs programs(huge line for Micki)
After intermission Jeff Jarrett offers $100,00 challenge to fans. Jeremy interrupts saying someone backstage accepts. Tommy Dreamer emerges and offers to have a no DQ falls count anywhere hardcore match instead. "ECW" chant breaks out .
Jarrett accepts.
Even though it is falls count anywhere they stay close to ring exceot going up the entrance stairway where Jarrett unsuccessfully tries to toss Dreamer over.
Eventually chair comes in ring and Jarrett wins by giving Dreamer the Stroke on the chair. Maybe the weakest match of night.
Main event TNA title Jeff Hardy vs Matt Morgan: (change) Strong reaction for both. Matt is homeown from nearby Fairfield but still a large portion of crowd pulling for Hardy. good match. Matt has Hardy for the count but Brian Hebner was knocked out. Jeff recovers with Twist of fate and Hebner makes a miraculous recovery to make the 3 count.
Afterwards Jeff Hardy drops the heel act and poses for pictures in the ring (for $20 of course) Jarrett signs photos for $5.00. Hebners continue to sign $10..00 t-shirts . Robbie E , Cookie and Lethal come out to meet crowd for autographs and pictures for free
