Several weeks ago, WrestleZone was the first to report, in an exclusive article you can read if you CLICK HERE, that WWE does indeed have plans to use Jerry Lawler in a wrestling capacity at WrestleMania.
WrestleZone has learned tonight that the plan is still, according to a key WWE insider, "as good as a certainty" that Jerry "The King" Lawler will wrestle Michael Cole in some sort of gimmick, handicap, or tag team match at WrestleMania.
"(WWE Chairman) Vince (McMahon) is going to go over the entire WrestleMania card during the producers’ meeting tomorrow before Monday Night Raw," our key insider told us this evening after the Elimination Chamber pay per view, "and this is where the card is really getting locked in. We’re five weeks away, so the writers have already been told to map out the storylines and show Vince and Stephanie (McMahon) the storyline grids this week in the creative meetings."
As for Lawler vs Cole at WrestleMania, our key insider told us "is it possible the match just goes away? Yes. It is likely? No. I’d put money on it happening, and for the angle to be shot tomorrow night or next week on Raw."
