TNA’s BaseBrawl Coming to Illinois, Santino Marella Injured?

Marion, IL will host a “TNA Wrestling’s BaseBrawl” event on Friday, June 10 at Rent One Park at 7:30pm. Tickets go on sale Saturday, April 30 at http://www.southernillinoisminers.com and charge by phone at (618) 998-8499. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the Rent One Park box office. With each TNA ticket purchased, fans receive a free ticket to a select upcoming Miners game ($8 value; details at http://www.southernillinoisminers.com). Fans that purchase a $50 TNA ticket will receive a special meet and greet with TNA Superstars at 5:30pm (Redeemable with ticket the night of the show).

Appearing live and in person will be Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle, “TNA Founder” Jeff Jarrett, Eric Young, Matt Hardy, “The Blueprint” Matt Morgan, Bully Ray and more!

Just writing in to mention an injury that I noticed at the RAW house show in Cardiff, Wales this past Tuesday (April 19th).

During a tag team match between Santino Marella & Mark Henry vs The Uso’s, I noticed Santino’s ankle was heavily bandaged and he did not get tagged in through out the entire match, and Mark Henry pretty much squashed the Uso’s on his own. The only involvement Santino had was a cobra from the ring arpon. He celebrated after the match but was clearly limping.

It may also be worth noting that Santino did get attacked by the Uso’s during his entrance but he was definitly limping before that.

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
