Stone Cold Steve Austin might have appeared on night two of WrestleMania 41, but he didn’t stick around to watch the main event.
WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin was a recent guest on The Ariel Helwani Show. When asked for his thoughts on the finish to Cody Rhodes and John Cena at WrestleMania 41, Austin said he didn’t see it and left the arena after his appearance in order to beat the crowd.
“I didn’t see it,” Steve Austin said. “[Did you go home?] Yes, I did. [Any particular reason?] No, I just wanted to beat the crowd, and I haven’t watched it back. I follow WWE on IG. That’s where I get most of my content. I’ll get the snippets and stuff that they play, and that’s what I see.”
It certainly doesn’t sound like Austin is particularly invested in the current WWE product.
