Dustin Rhodes intends to finish out his career with All Elite Wrestling instead of returning to WWE.
Back in December, Dustin Rhodes announced that he had signed a new multi-year contract with All Elite Wrestling. This upset a portion of fans who were hopeful to see the former Goldust return to WWE alongside his brother Cody.
Despite the new contract, that hasn’t stopped fans from fantasy booking his return to WWE. However, Dustin Rhodes has taken to social media to confirm that he’ll finish his career with AEW, as it’s the only company he’s ever felt respected, tweeting out:
“Nope!! @AEW is where I will finish. Only place I have ever felt respected,” Rhodes said in a post.
When a fan accused Dustin’s comments of being crazy and that AEW’s booking is lazy compared to WWE, Rhodes said the following:
“No, I had a wonderful career as Goldust and respect the shit out of my time with WWE. Goldust ran its course. I am having the time of my life coming back full circle as Dustin Rhodes. No hate towards them. I had 24 yrs there. My passion lies where I am at now, @aew. I watch all companies,” Rhodes said in a post.
Another fan mentioned that people should respect Rhodes’ choice of wrapping up his career with AEW Dustin said he lives his life without worrying about what people say online.
“Honestly I don’t care who doesn’t like it. I don’t live my life worrying about what someone says on the Net,” Rhodes said in response.
Although Rhodes is a member of the AEW roster, he additionally holds two championships with the Ring of Honor brand.
