Bryan Danielson Says He’s The Best Wrestler In The World, Leads Fans In ‘Yes!’ Chant On AEW Dynamite

Bryan Danielson fired up the crowd on AEW Dynamite.

On the August 21st episode of AEW Dynamite, AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland and Bryan Danielson had their final showdown ahead of their Title vs. Carer match at AEW All In.

Strickland highlighted the list of challengers he has beaten. He vowed to make sure that Danielson could not come back after he lost at AEW All In, and he brought up Danielson’s family. Danielson ran in and hit Strickland with a running knee.

Danielson then delivered a passionate message, saying that he was the best wrestler in the world, and he had been for the past 20 years. He said he would leave his soul in the ring, and Strickland would have to practically kill him to beat him.

Bryan Danielson ended his message by saying that the real question was whether “The American Dragon” could beat Strickland, and the fans knew the answer. He then led them in a “Yes!” chant to end the show.

As previously announced, Danielson will be forced to retire if he loses to Strickland at AEW All In. Danielson has frequently said that 2024 will be his last year as a full-time wrestler.
