Dakota Kai To Miss 8-10 Weeks Due To Torn Meniscus, Will Undergo Surgery

Dakota Kai has been sidelined with an injury.

During the August 12 episode of WWE RAW, commentator Michael Cole noted that Dakota Kai had suffered a torn meniscus. He stated that she would be out for eight-to-ten weeks, and she would undergo surgery.

Kai last wrestled at the WWE live event on July 27, where she and IYO SKY beat Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill. Sonya Deville later attacked Kai backstage on the August 5 episode of WWE RAW.

Meanwhile, SKY and Kai competed on the August 12 episode, where they faced Stark and Baszler in a Number One Contener’s Match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. The champions, Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn, attacked both teams, so the match ended without a clear winner.

WrestleZone wishes Dakota Kai well in her recovery, and we will provide more information as it becomes available.
