Cody Rhodes has picked his opponent for WWE Bash in Berlin.
Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes came to the ring on the August 9th episode of WWE SmackDown. Coming off of his win over Solo Sikoa at WWE SummerSlam, he looked ahead to WWE Bash in Berlin. Sikoa and The Bloodline interrupted, and Sikoa demanded a rematch. Rhodes turned him down and said he had no right to ask for one. The Bloodline was about to attack Rhodes, but Owens ran in for the save.
Rhodes then told Owens that he wanted to face him, but Owens turned him down, saying that he had not earned a title shot. The champion insisted as he noted that Owens had always had his back in his feud with The Bloodline. He said that he would talk to General Manager Nick Aldis, and he was sure that he would agree with Rhodes.
Update: Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes met with Nick Aldis later in the show. Aldis noted that he was waiting to talk to Roman Reigns about a title match. Owens expressed his frustration and noted that plenty of people were more deserving. Aldis then confirmed that Owens would face Rhodes at WWE Bash in Berlin.
