Mina Shirakawa says she was shocked by Mariah May turning on Toni Storm.
STARDOM’s Mina Shirakawa was featured on AEW programming ahead of the Forbidden Door pay-per-view. She reunited with Mariah May and started feuding with AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm. Storm then beat her at the pay-per-view. After the match, Shirakawa celebrated with Storm and May. She returned to STARDOM, and May later turned on Storm.
Shirakawa is returning to the United States for a tour, and she is missing the STARDOM 5 STAR Grand Prix.

“After the [Toni] fight, the people at AEW said to me, ‘When can you come back next time? I want you to come back soon. I had a match with [Toni] and witnessed her immense popularity,” she said. “That’s when my competitive spirit was ignited. I also wanted to make the audience here say, ‘Mina is the best’ more often.”
Mina Shirakawa also commented on May betraying Storm. She noted that she wanted to see how May felt about her.
“It was shocking,” she said. “Personally, I wanted to do something interesting with the three of us. I also wanted to see what Mariah thought of me, because I didn’t know what she would do to me.
As of this writing, there is no word on whether Mina Shirakawa will return to AEW. WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
