The Usos Told Solo Sikoa To Finish School Before He Joined WWE

Jey Uso reveals that he and Jimmy Uso made Solo Sikoa finish school before he joined WWE.

In recent months, Solo Sikoa has taken over The Bloodline. He has consistently been featured on WWE SmackDown, and he feuded with Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.

Speaking on The Ringer Wrestling Show, Jey Uso was asked about Solo Sikoa’s success. He spoke highly of him and his current run. Uso also recalled how he and Jimmy told Sikoa that he had to finish school before he joined WWE. He then circled back to Sikoa’s current run.

“From a real perspective, I’m so happy for him,” he said. “It brings joy to see him out there on SmackDown now. Because I know his story and what it took for him to get there. He did put in work. Solo, I’m really talking, Solo has degree in college, he’s the smartest one out of all of us. He just wanted to wrestle, and the rule was, me and my brother told him, we’ll get you in, but you need to finish school first. Finish school.

“He’s like, ‘All right, here I go. I want to go. I want to go to Orlando, I want to go to NXT.’ But to see him now in a position today, man, he’s killing it. I tell him, I’m like, ‘Bro, you shining right now. Keep it up.’ Doesn’t he bring a boss look to it? He’s his own Tribal Chief. It’s Tribal Chief, but it’s his own way. It’s his own style.”

Solo Sikoa headlined WWE SummerSlam. There, he challenged Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship. Roman Reigns returned and cost Sikoa the match.

WrestleZone will have coverage of WWE SmackDown as it airs on August 9.
