Triple H is happy to see Nia Jax thriving.
WWE released Jax in 2021, but she returned in September 2023. She has gained momentum ever since, especially in recent months. Her ascension continued at WWE SummerSlam, where she beat Bayley to win the WWE Women’s Championship.
At the WWE SummerSlam Post-Show, Triple H spoke highly of both Bayley and Nia Jax.
“Bayley [is] just that constant. You know she’s always gonna deliver,” Triple H said. “That’s just how great she is. Sometimes, she gets overlooked for it, but she’s just always on, always, and it’s great to see. Nia Jax, to me, in what was a really special moment, both the Queen of the Ring and tonight, first of all, her first SummerSlam she ever competed in.
“Second of all, becoming champion tonight in a period of time where I think when she first came back, a lot of people doubted her like, ‘Why? Why are we bringing Nia back?’ Just a lot of questions about her dedication, her ability, whatever that is. I think, at least to me, she’s proven everybody wrong. She’s proven that she belongs, she’s proven that she wants it, she’s proven that she’s really good at this. I’m really happy for her to have that success and to have this second chance at this whole thing. She’s having a blast doing it, which is the coolest part of it for me. She really enjoying herself.”
