WOW Signs Pro Wrestler Tatevik Hunanyan For Season 3

WOW has signed martial arts specialist Takevik Hunanyan for season three of their show.

The Women of Wrestling promotion has been a quiet success since their return to TV. They boast the highest ratings of any pro-wresting show in the US, not named AEW or WWE. This shows the reach of women’s wrestling, and they are keen to expand with new signings.

One of these is a former WOW actress-turned-wrestler. In a recent press release, WOW announced that Takevik Hunanyan has returned to WOW for the third season of their show on the CW App.

Billed as “Tatevik the Gamer,” the American-Armenian actress returns to WOW for the first time since 2016. She wrestled for the promotion starting in 2013 but left three years later to focus on her education.

WOW co-founder David McClane said “Tatevik is the Armenian Warrior. The company is enthusiastic to showcase Hunanyan, who makes her return to pro wrestling after a prolonged absence.”

They wrote that she was trained by Rikishi and Rocky Johnson and is also a trained dancer. Tatevik is scheduled to appear at the latest WOW tapings later this month, as she returns to wrestle for the promotion for the first time in years.

WOW claims that she will “add international flair for the globally-recognized wrestling brand”, as they try to grow the all-woman promotion to even higher heights across the United States.
