Kenny Omega responds to Gabe Kidd and says NJPW’s top talent got paid because of the “Kenny Omega touch”.
NJPW STRONG Openweight Champion Gabe Kidd took to Twitter to call out Omega. Though he didn’t say anything of substance, he named the former AEW World Champion in a post and teased that an eventual showdown was just a matter of time.
In a tweet, Omega responded to Gabe Kidd. He noted that Kidd apparently forgot that he worked for AEW. Omega wrote that most of the roster was “delusional psychopaths” like Kidd, so he was used to it. He then suggested that Kidd should win the G1 Climax, and maybe then he would gift him with the “Kenny Omega touch”.
Omega closed his message by saying that the touch “same one that” scored all your top talent that bag here in the US.” He wished Kidd luck.
Kenny Omega’s Health
Omega has been sidelined due to health issues since December. He was hospitalized with diverticulitis. Omega returned to AEW on the May 8 episode of AEW Dynamite, and The Elite took him out with a vicious attack. Omega then reportedly underwent surgery. There is no word on when he will return to the ring.
