Athena Would Love To See An AEW Versus ROH Women’s Pay-Per-View

One of the top stars in Ring of Honor is the current ROH Women’s World Champion Athena. The former NXT Women’s Champion is set to defend her title against Queen Aminita at the Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view.

Ahead of her big title match, Athena was interviewed by Stephanie Chase. During the interview, the ROH Women’s Champion mentioned that she would love to have a pay-per-view in which AEW and ROH go head-to-head but she wants it to be exclusively for the women’s roster.

“I mean, absolutely. Who wouldn’t? I would love to do an AEW vs. ROH pay-per-view with the girls. I mean, honestly, I know we just want to be considered equals. As amazing as that opportunity is, I would absolutely love it, and I would hope to main event that. We’ll see what happens. The future is so bright for everyone’s division under the AEW and ROH banner. We have a lot of stuff cooking. I don’t want to spoil surprises, but we got a lot of stuff cooking that I think everyone’s gonna look forward to,” Athena said. [H/T Fightful]
