Zelina Vega Tells WWE To ‘Give Me The Ball’

Zelina Vega wants to be given a chance to suceed in the WWE.

The Puerto Rican superstar suffered another defeat on Monday Night Raw this week. She was easily dispatched by Sonya Deville in a quick, adding to her recent woes in the ring.

Zelina Vega hasn’t won a singles match since beating IYO SKY in August last year. Her only wins have come in multi-man matches, and the WWE Superstar seems to be sick of her current position in the company.

The LWO member took to Twitter to make a statement about her current status. Zelina Vega wrote that her height (she’s only five-foot-one) has held her back in her career, but she wants to prove she can be trusted as a star by the WWE.

Zelina Vega challenged to the company to “give me the ball”, and said she is prepared to fail for a chance to become one of the top women in the division.

All my life, I’ve heard that my height holds me back. Today is no different. But there’s just so much you can prove here and there. I’ve gotten to touch the ball but never actually hold it. Give. me. the. ball. If I drop it F**K me, I’ll fall back..but I’m ready to settle this.

Zelina Vega: There’s No Better Feeling Than Proving People Wrong

Zelina Vega loves to prove people backstage wrong.

She was a recent guest on Busted Open Radio. When asked how it felt to hold the crowd in the palm of her hand a few weeks ago on RAW during her promo, Vega admitted it felt great to prove certain people in the back wrong.

“I would say there’s no better feeling. And it felt like there’s no better feeling than proving certain people in the back wrong,” Zelina Vega admitted. “It was nice to actually have a certain person come up to me and say, ‘Wow, that was amazing. Good job.’ Or having people who are also known for their incredible mic skills, like The Miz coming up to me, who was, I think, on commentary at the time of the promo.

“But having him come up to me and talk to me and just giving me props is crazy. That’s like a wow, really, kind of moment where you have to just look at the people who have done it for so long and successfully, and when they’re giving you props, like Seth Rollins, of course, like when he comes up to me and I’m just like, ‘What is life right now?’
