Will Ospreay Apologizes For ‘Mistake’ In 7/10 Dynamite Promo, Promises To Knock It Out Of The Park Next Week

Will Ospreay is always open to listening to the criticism of wrestling fans regarding what he does on a weekly basis.

The AEW International Champion opened up the July 10 episode of Dynamite with a promo on MJF. While many had no issues with the promo, some fans were vocal regarding Ospreay’s comments regarding the “bidding war of 2024.”

Ospreay implied that the bidding war didn’t go MJF’s way because Tony Khan would rather spend money on those who will elevate his company instead of bury it. But despite Ospreay’s words, MJF did secure a massive multi-year deal to remain with All Elite Wrestling.

Will Ospreay took to social media this morning to comment on the criticism and promised to knock next week out of the park, tweeting out:

“Alright guys, realised I made a mistake during my comments last night on dynamite. I’ll do better next time under a lot of stress personally & wasn’t really focusing on my wording & result didn’t add up. No excuses when the red light is on. Next week I’ll knock it out the park,” Will Ospreay said in a post.

Ospreay will defend his International Championship against MJF next week on the 250th episode of AEW Dynamite.
