Mark Briscoe will fight for AEW.
On the July 3 episode of AEW Dynamite, ROH World Champion Mark Briscoe came to the ring and brought up how Jack Perry won the TNT Championship at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. He then looked ahead to the Blood & Guts match where Team AEW will face The Elite on the July 24 episode of AEW Dynamite. Briscoe officially declared that he was a member of Team AEW.
Jack Perry attacked Briscoe from behind. Kyle O’Reilly ran in for the save, but Kazuchika Okada attacked him. The Young Bucks came out and joined in on the beatdown. The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn ran down and chased The Elite off.
The broadcast team confirmed that Briscoe was officially a member of Team AEW, and The Elite would have a fifth member who has not been named yet.
