Liv Morgan: I’m Just Entering My Prime, We Haven’t Even Scratched The Surface Yet

WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan says the best is yet to come.

Liv Morgan’s career has reached new heights in recent months. She beat Becky Lynch to win the WWE Women’s World Championship at WWE King and Queen of the Ring. Morgan has been involved in a buzzworthy storyline with Dominik Mysterio ever since.

Speaking with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Liv Morgan commented on her current run.

“This is something I created–that I didn’t feel always had a lot of support behind it–but I stuck it out because I really believed in it,” Liv Morgan said. “I believed in myself. And when I got this opportunity, because of the time and attention to my craft, I ran with it.”

Morgan went on to say that it took ten years to get to this point, and they had not even scratched the surface yet. Morgan stated that she was just entering her prime.

“It’s been 10 years to get here, and we haven’t even scratched the surface yet,” Liv Morgan said. “This is what I always hoped and dreamed for–and that’s why the time off when I was injured was so significant. It was important for my self-esteem and to re-fall in love with wrestling to come back in my best form. I’m just entering my prime. If you don’t believe me, just watch.”

Morgan will defend her title against Zelina Vega on the July 1 episode of WWE RAW. WrestleZone will have coverage of the show as it airs.
