Atlantis Jr. has won the gold.
At the CMLL event on June 28, Atlantis Jr. defeated Kyle Fletcher to win the ROH World Television Championship. The bout marked the latest collaboration between CMLL and AEW/ROH.
After the match, Fletcher shook hands with Atlantis Jr. and challenged him to a rematch on his own turf.
Fletcher previously won the vacant ROH World Television Championship in a Survival of the Fittest match at ROH Final Battle 2023. He held the title for 191 days.
Atlantis Jr. is the son of the legendary Atlantis, one of the most decorated stars in CMLL history. Atlantis Jr. has held the CMLL World Trios Championship, among other accolades.
The CMLL event on June 28 also featured a surprise appearance by AEW star Chris Jericho. More information is available here.
