Report: AEW Double or Nothing 2024 Drew Gate Of $582,000

The financial information about AEW Double or Nothing has been reported.

AEW held Double or Nothing at MGM Grand Garden Arena on May 26. Per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, the show drew $582,204 in ticket sales; 9,099 ticket-buyers were recorded in new data from Pollstar. The average ticket sale price was $64.

Per Thurston, AEW budgeted their costs for Double or Nothing and Collision the night before at $3,868,200, and the company applied for a $373,388 tax credit, according to documents they submitted to the Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development, to apply for a $373,388 tax credit. There is no official word on the pay-per-view sales yet.

The report notes that Double or Nothing was likely AEW’s second-highest gate to date in 2024; in March, AEW Revolution drew over $1 million. Thurston also writes that AEW Double or Nothing’s gate is down from 2022, which drew $1 million.

AEW Double or Nothing was headlined by the Anarchy in the Arena match between The Elite and Team AEW. Elsewhere on the show, Swerve Strickland defended the AEW World Championship against Christian Cage.

AEW will present AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on June 30. WrestleZone will have coverage of the show as it airs.
