The Judgment Day has regained the gold, albeit with a different combination.
On the June 24 episode of WWE RAW, Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan tricked R-Truth into giving the Judgment Day a shot at the World Tag Team Championship. In the main event, Truth and The Miz defended the titles against Finn Balor and JD McDonagh.
The match quickly broke down in chaos, as Morgan came to ringside, and Dominik Mysterio and Carlito got involved. In the end, Morgan turned on Truth and helped Balor score the win for his team. As a result, Balor and McDonagh won the titles.
Morgan then celebrated the victory with Balor and McDonagh, as her dynamic relationship with the Judgment Day continues to unfold.
This marks the first time that Balor and McDonagh have held the titles together. Balor and Damian Priest have won the tag team titles twice.
R-Truth and The Miz won the gold in a Ladder Match at WWE WrestleMania 40. The loss brought their reign to an end at 79 days.
