The two competitors went back and forth in a thrilling main event while Bryan Danielson watched on from the commentary table. In the end, PAC and Castagnoli traded pin attempts, and “The Bastard” scored the three count.
With the win, PAC advanced to the next round. There, he will face the winner of the match between Bryan Danielson and Shingo Takagi, who will clash at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
The winner of the AEW Owen Hart Foundation Cup Tournament will earn a world title shot at AEW All In.
