Bryan Clark Claims He Stole His ‘Death Penalty’ Finisher From Yokozuna

For a long time, there has been a question that the fans are still searching the answer for. That question is ‘Who killed WCW?’ After so many years, the wrestling fans might be finally getting the answer to that question in the form of Vice TV’s new Docuseries ‘Who Killed WCW.’ The series is produced by The People’s Champion Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. Recently, WCW Original Bryan Clark shared a tweet ahead of the second episode of the limited edition Docuseries.

Bryan Clark took to Twitter to share that he was never one of the reasons for the end of World Championship Wrestling but he did give most of his opponents the ‘Death Penalty.’ The Death Penalty is Clark’s signature move. It is a version of the popular Uranagi. Bryan Clark also mentioned that he made the signature move popular way before WWE Hall of Famer Booker T (he called it the Booke End) or The People’s Champion Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson (he called it the Rock Bottom) ever did. Then Clark claimed that he stole the move from wrestling legend Yokozuna.

“”Who Killed WCW” Part 2 on @VICE #WaybackWednesday I didn’t kill WCW but I gave a lot of my opponents “The Death Penalty”. I did that Uranagi before @BookerT5x and @TheRock There can only be one original…Oh wait I forgot, my bad, I stole it from Yokozuna??? #WhoKilledWCW @ProDefined,” Bryan Clark tweeted.

Do you think the Death Penalty was better than the Book End or The Rock Bottom?
