Shingo Takagi and PAC are set to compete in the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.
NJPW star Shingo Takagi appeared in a video package on the June 12 episode of AEW Dynamite. Takagi said his time was coming, as he introduced himself as the “Rampage Dragon.” Takagi, the reigning NEVER Openweight Champion, brought up the Owen Hart Tournament and said he was ready.
Previously, Takagi has competed for Ring of Honor, Dragon Gate, and other companies. He is one of NJPW’s most decorated stars. Takagi is a former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion and four-time NEVER Openweight Champion, among other accolades.
Update: PAC also declared for the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. In a video package on the June 12 episode of Dynamite, the former AEW All-Atlantic Champion and AEW World Trios Champion expressed his frustration but vowed to turn it around by winning the tournament.
The Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Finals are set to take place on July 10. The winners of the tournaments will earn world title shots at AEW All In at Wembley Stadium.
