IYO SKY says something has to change.
On the June 10 episode of WWE RAW, IYO SKY faced Lyra Valkyria in a rematch of their clash during the Queen of the Ring tournament. This time around, SKY scored the win, as her Damage CTRL stablemates interfered and helped her emerge victorious. Even with the victory, SKY’s frustration was evident, as she attacked Vakyria after the match. Katana Chance and Kayden Carter came out to make the save.
In a backstage segment, IYO SKY was fired up. She stated that Damage CTRL “has to change” before she stormed off.
Damage CTRL has already changed a lot in recent months. The group turned on Bayley, who beat SKY to win the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 40. SKY, Dakota Kai, Kairi Sane, and Asuka were selected by WWE RAW in the WWE Draft. Sane and Asuka then lost the WWE Women’s Tag team Championship to Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill at WWE Backlash France. Asuka has been sidelined with an injury ever since.
