Rikishi Hopes The Usos Will Reunite, Thinks Fans Miss Seeing Them Together

Rikishi hopes to see The Usos reunite after they are satisfied with their singles runs.

The Usos are one of the most successful tag teams in WWE history. However, Jimmy and Jey Uso split up after Jimmy turned on Jey at WWE SummerSlam 2023. Jey beat Jimmy at WrestleMania 40, and he has become a top singles star on WWE RAW.

Speaking on RIKISHI FATU OFF THE TOP, the WWE Hall of Famer was asked about the possibility of his sons teaming up again.

“Yeah, there’s always a possibility,” Rikishi said. “I mean, I’m assuming that a lot of the fans miss seeing them two in the ring together as one. But it’s also kind of refreshing to be able to see them venturing out on singles competition as well.

“As a wrestler, you have to be able to go down that path. I always say, like how how Hart Foundation did. Everybody knows that Owen and Bret are brothers, but they’re parted ways to feel out their singles careers. Brothers are family members, you would always want to venture into, and I’m glad my boys are doing that now.”

Rikishi On The Usos’ Singles Runs

Rikishi continued by noting that The Usos reuniting was the only way to go once they were satisfied with their singles runs. He also highlighted Jey’s current success.

“Yeah, I think once that’s over and they’re satisfied with their singles competition run, the only thing else to do is to come back, to be able to give the fans that treat, of seeing one of the greatest tag teams in the business to reunite,” Rikishi said. “So hopefully, that’ll come back. But during the meantime, I say that they’re just enjoying their time in singles competition. Jimmy’s taking some time off for a bit. Jey is on that ‘Yeet’ Mania all over the world.

“To me, he’s one of the hottest entrances that we’ve seen in a long time. To be able to witness that with my own eyes, I’m a proud daddy.”

Jimmy Uso is currently out with an injury. More information is available here.
