Nikki Garcia is back on reality television.
Based in a castle in the Scottish highlands, 21 celebrities will attempt to capture a massive cash prize. The journey to reach this prize, though, won’t be easy, as these famous figures will “murder” and “banish” each other in a Mafia-like reality game show known as The Traitors. On Wednesday morning, host Alan Cumming revealed the identities of the celebrities (via The Today Show) who will be competing on the third season of the United States version of The Traitors.
For professional wrestling fans, a notable name comes in the form of WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Garcia (fka Nikki Bella). Outside of her successful in-ring career, Garcia also boasts an expansive resume of appearances on reality television and game shows, such as Total Divas, Total Bellas, Dancing With The Stars, Barmageddon, and most recently, Twin Love.
Joining Garcia in this game of deception will be a number of Survivor alumni, specifically “Boston” Rob Mariano, Tony Vlachos, Carolyn Wiger, and Jeremy Collins. Big Brother legends Danielle Reyes and Britney Haynes are also slated for season three. Other familiar names include Bob the Drag Queen of RuPaul’s Drag Race, Dorinda Medley of The Real Housewives of New York City, and British royal, Lord Ivar Mountbatten.
The Basis Of ‘The Traitors’
Much like seasons one and two, the newest chapter of The Traitors USA will divide contestants into two different groups — the “Traitors” and “the Faithful.” Host Alan Cumming will choose at least three of the cast members to become Traitors, whose objective is to “murder” (or eliminate) all of the Faithfuls, until only Traitors remain. After each “murder,” the Faithful have an opportunity to strike back by voting to “banish” a player from the game at the Round Table. The banishing of a Traitor is not always guaranteed, though, as the identities of the treacherous cast members are kept hidden from the Faithful party, leading to increased paranoia and chaos within the castle.
Despite their contrasting objectives, Faithfuls and Traitors will work together in between these banishments and “murders” to complete a series of missions. Each successful mission will then result in money being added to the collective prize pot.
While it is currently unknown when season three of The Traitors will air, it will remain on the Peacock streaming service.
