Tony Khan Announces Trios Match For Collision, Pits Danielson vs Jarrett For First Time

Tony Khan has announced a huge six-man tag match taking place on AEW Collision this weekend.

The AEW boss posted on Twitter about the match. He revealed that Bryan Danielson will team with FTR just one night before Double or Nothing. They will do battle with Jeff Jarrett, Satnam Singh and Jay Lethal in what will likely be the show’s main event bout.

The match comes just days after Danielson took on the giant Singh in the main event of AEW Dynamite. The American Dragon had the giant locked in the Labelle lock. However, he was attacked by his cronies as the match descended into anarchy.

Darby Allin made the save with a flamethrower. As you do. Tony Khan revealed that he did have a licence to use the weapon. I’m not sure if that justifies it’s use in a fight on a television show, though.

This helped build to the Anarchy in the Arena match at Double or Nothing 2024. It pits Bryan Danielson, Darby Allin and FTR against The Elite (The Young Bucks, Kazuchika Okada and Jack Perry) in one of the show’s main events.

On Twitter to announce the Collision bout, Tony Khan wrote;

“THIS SATURDAY #AEWCollision Las Vegas 8pm ET/7pm CT TBS@DaxFTR / @CashWheelerFTR/@bryandanielsonvs Satnam/Lethal/Jarrett As AEW celebrates 5 years this weekend, 24 hours before #AEWDoN vs The Elite, FTR join Bryan to collide vs the hired guns who attacked him, Saturday on TBS!”

This will be the first time Danielson has ever shared the ring with Jeff Jarrett. Thanks, Tony Khan!
