Emily Blunt witnessed The Rock compete inside the squared circle for the first time at WrestleMania 40.
Emily Blunt was a recent guest on The Howard Stern Show. After confirming she’ll be co-starring with The Rock again for The Smashing Machine, Stern mentioned that he heard The Rock gifted her tickets to WrestleMania 40. Blunt said she ended up watching the event at home and revealed she had never watched her co-star wrestle before.
“Well, I mean, I watched it at home,” Emily Blunt said. “I did not go watch it live. I wanted to, but I felt I should — to be honest with you, I never watched him wrestle. My brother was obsessed with WWE growing up, and it is one of those surreal moments where you’re like, I remember that as a kid walking into our TV room. My brother was just mainlining The Rock and then I’m working with him years later. It’s just so wild, isn’t it? Life’s crazy!”
The Rock and Emily Blunt previously co-starred in Disney’s Jungle Cruise back in 2021.
