Shawn Michaels says Kendrick Lamar and Drake can settle their beef in NXT.
Kendrick Lamar and Drake have been battling it out with some fiery diss tracks over the past several days. Lamar referenced “Sweet Chin Music”, WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels’ finisher, in his “Not Like Us” track.
In a post on Twitter, Shawn Michaels commented on the reference. He wrote that a little “Sweet Chin Music” went a long way. He invited Drake and Lamar to NXT to settle their beef. Michaels even offered to mediate the showdown.
“A little Sweet Chin Music goes a long way,” Shawn Michaels said. “@kendricklamar, you and @Drake are formally invited to #WWENXT to settle this thing. I’m even offering my services to mediate.”
As of this writing, there is no word on whether Kendrick Lamar and Drake will accept the invitation, or if they will continue their battle outside of WWE.
Whether Drake or Lamar appear or not, NXT will present an action-packed show on May 7. The advertised card is as follows:
- Wes Lee vs. Josh Briggs
- Supernova Sessions with NXT Champion Trick Williams
- NXT Women’s Combine
WrestleZone will have coverage of NXT as it airs on Tuesday.
