Vince McMahon, WWE, And John Laurinaitis Have Until May 14 To Respond To Janel Grant Lawsuit

There has been a new update in the lawsuit against Vince McMahon and WWE.

In January, Janel Grant filed a lawsuit against Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis, and WWE, alleging that McMahon and Grant engaged in sexual assault and trafficking of her. McMahon has denied the allegations, but he is under investigation.

Per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, court filings show that a waiver of summons dated March 15 for Vince McMahon, and WWE appeared on the docket, which was the same date for the waiver of summons for Laurinaitis. The filings note that McMahon, WWE, and Laurinaitis have 60 days to respond, so the deadline is May 14.

According to the filings, WWE and WWE will have separate counsel. Jessica T. Rosenberg from Kasowitz Benson Torres is representing Vince. Meanwhile, Daniel Toal from the Paul Weiss firm is representing WWE.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
