NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov made his WWE RAW debut on Monday night.
The RAW after WrestleMania often features surprises, and this year was no exception. Shinsuke Nakamura came to the ring to compete on the April 8 episode of WWE RAW. His opponent was revealed to be NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov. They battled back and forth, and Dragunov scored the win with a Torpedo Moscow.
The match marked Dragunov’s debut on the WWE main roster. The commentary team noted that the WWE Draft would be held on April 26 and 29.
WWE then announced that Dragunov had declared for the 2024 WWE Draft.
