Anthony Henry Sends Heartfelt Message To His Fans Following Announced Return To AEW/ROH

It’s been a roller coaster type of week for Anthony Henry of The Workhorsemen.

On Monday evening, it was announced that Anthony Henry had been released from his contract with All Elite Wrestling shortly after he was injured at an independent wrestling event.

This release didn’t sit well with Henry’s fanbase, who sent countless social media messages asking Tony Khan to rethink his decision.

Earlier this afternoon, on the Ring of Honor Supercard of Honor Media Call, Khan was asked about this week’s releases and confirmed that Henry would return to the company once he’s cleared to return from his injury.

Henry took to social media to thank the fans who backed him this week and shared his excitement for his next chapter with All Elite Wrestling and Ring of Honor, tweeting out:

“What a week! Obviously, I was not happy with what happened earlier in the week. However, I am estatic about being back! I believe in the locker room at AEW and cannot wait to be back in action. To those who voiced their support for me this week: thank you from the bottom of my heart. I never knew that what I do impacted so many. I’ve never had anyone rally behind me like that. It is an unreal feeling. I love you all. See you soon! #punchinknockout #workhorsemen,” Anthony Henry said in a series of posts.

More details on how this week’s events for Anthony Henry played out are still unknown

A fan would ask Henry about the series of events that occurred this week, but Henry expressed that he’s just happy to have his job back so he can support his family.

“I am just happy to have my job back. I can support my family,” Anthony Henry said in a post.
