Becky Lynch: There’s Nothing That Drives Me More Than Proving People Wrong

Becky Lynch has grown a lot as a wrestler in WWE. She started her run in NXT as just another wrestler to become a member of the Four Horsewomen. When Lynch was called up to the main roster, she came up with Charlotte Flair. She was mostly known as Charlotte’s friend. But then, she emerged as the top star in the women’s division. Lynch is the first female star to main event WrestleMania and win the match as well.

When Becky Lynch was a guest on an episode of Mythical Kitchen, she mentioned how much she loves proving people wrong. She also shared her hopes for her daughter.

“I love a good chip on my shoulder. I’m good. I’m fine when people believe in me right? Like, I’m okay. Like, ‘Aww, yeah! I prove you right. Yay!’ But if I have to prove somebody wrong, Oh! Oh! Nothing better. There’s nothing that drives me more than that. I love somebody telling me I can’t do something. But do I want her [Roux] to have it? I do worry about being too soft on her. Cuz, we’re so aware of all the traumas that we pass down to our kids and we go, ‘Am I doing this right?’ Right now, she’s such a happy kid. She’s such a good kid.

“And so, I feel like we are doing everything right. But maybe she’s a soft little kid. I don’t know. I hope she’s… Hope she’s able to handle stuff. I hope she can have a chip on her shoulder. And the other end of things is, for example, if she wants to get into wrestling. Well, then she’ll get the best treatment in the world,” Becky Lynch said.
