The NXT Superstar Dijak took to Twitter to address these reports about The Rock. The Retribution member mentioned that he loves the promos and finds them very inspirational for the next generation of professional wrestlers.
“Don’t worry @TheRock, I love your profanity filled promos. They are very inspirational to the next generation of shit-talkers in WWE,” Dijak tweeted.
The Great One will be main eventing Night One of WrestleMania 40 when he teams up with The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns to take on the team of Cody Rhodes and the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins.
The Rock is happy to return to playing a heel in the WWE
Recently, The Great One was a special guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live. During the episode, The Rock reflected on the time the first promo he did in 2024 as a heel. The People’s Champion also shared that as a bad guy, he can say anything he wants.
“It is the best,” he said. “To go back to WWE in this Rock 10.0 version where I can become a heel and say the things that people want to say, let me…I went in and ‘It’s the number one city, you cactus-loving crackheads.’
“What I also said was, ‘And every woman in here wants to go one on one with The Rock,’ and all the women go crazy. I said, ‘Now, settle down, you crackhead Karens” [laughs] and then they all cheered again. They were like, ‘Yay!’ [Laughs]”
